HI,

I have the EP 16/512 eprom programmer from Rolf Rocke Computer but I have missplaced the software disk.
Does anybody here have it ?

Blackbox delay durring floppy boot.

Hi,

I have resently got my hands on a BlackBox with firmware 1.44.
Been testing some different harddrives, and it works great.
I decided to do the 74ls280 parity fix, to be able to hook up a ZIP drive, or any newer harddrive, and even that worked good..

But one thing I'm wondering about, it's when I change to a new harddrive that has not yet been Blackboxed, it then takes a couple of minutes before it boots from floppy.. (or SIO2PC thingi)

Is that normal?
I'll guess BB is scanning the buss for bootable harddrives / configuration partitions.
But little curious why it takes so long..
