I found Pitfall 2 Lost Caverns
Fri Sep 16, 2011 1:22 PM
I found what seems to be 5200 "Pitfall 2 Lost Caverns" a couple days ago.On one site, the serial number is listed as "FZ-011", without the "04" for 5200 Pitfall 2, lost Caverns. The serial number on the cartridge I have is "FZ-011-04" Mine seems to be the 5200 one size wise, anyone know why it's lasted as "FZ-011" with the "04" missing on one site, just want to know if i DO actually have the 5200 version. Now i only wish i had a 5200 console to play it on!
Tight fit
Fri Jul 15, 2011 4:45 PM
So i found a few 7800 games the other day at a gaming store. There was 2 Karateka, so i bought both since they were cheap enough $6 for both.I also grabbed Galaga, decent port, and Joust, which is awesome!Holey crap, talk about a tight fit, both the Karateka's are such a tight fit i have to almost use my foot for leverage just to pull them out of the 7800.Good thing Karateka is NOT a game i'll be plugging in often anyway!
It seems they used thicker boards for this game, all my other 7800 games are all a looser fit.Either that or the Karateka's weren't played much thus counts for less wear which probably equals tighter fit.
ColecoVision Flashback!
Sat Jun 4, 2011 11:00 AM
I had a weird dream last night.I walked into a gaming store and to my absolute amazement sitting in the stores front window display "Colecovision Flashback", the same concept as the Atari Flashback but for CV.I never thought of a CV Flashback console, the thought never entered my mind till i had the dream.A mini CV flashback console would be so friggin cool.I wish Coleco was still around today to do this!
Gas Hog Woes
Fri May 20, 2011 9:14 PM
So, i walk into my local gaming store last weekend to find the usual games I can afford, $5-10.I found both loose, mint label Spectravision Gas Hog for 2600 for $79.50, and ColecoVision Mr.Do's! Castle for $49.00.
Are these overpriced?, i think they both are.Man if this was like just 2 years earlier i might have bought them both, but now?, no way.Anyone else here have had to pull back because of high inflation/bad economy?, yeah it sucks big time!!!I said 2 years earlier because back then the store owner didn't check on Ebay for pricing guide dammit, and would've let them go for A LOT LESS, half that amount or would take ANY reasonable offer, but he has jumped on the Ebay band wagon and will not budge on ANY Ebay researched price
