shadow460
I found a Super Mario Bros 3 last week. I knew I could flip it, but I left it alone since I didn't feel right about flipping. I picked up a Super Mario 2 today for $5.40. Dunno if it works, but it's in good condition. The only other game I had before that I don't have now for NES is Castlequest. That piece of crapola is everywhere, so getting one won't be too hard. Favorite games so far? Burai Fighter (still) Castelvania Super Mario 2 I've got a bunch of different ones, too, like Vindicators, but I guess the games you have as a kid (teenager in my case) kind of grow on you. Seob
I allready noticed that games over in the usa where cheaper. You only get good deals over here if the person selling it hasn't been surfing on internet before selling it. You see a lot of people selling things for far more than it's worth, just because they saw somebody on the internet asking that price for it. Some times i find nice games for little but mostly they are arround the 5 euro pricetag.

gulag picture radio
I don't know where I squirreled away my S-NES, so it's good that I found one for $6 last week. It has all the hookups, the arcade stick, and included Zelda: a Link to the Past. It's a really fun game. What's cool is that Radio Shack is having a yellow tag clearance sale, so for $5 I picked up a console video cable (with s-video!) that can connect to Playstation, X-box, or Gamecube. The Gamecube connector fits N64 and S-NES, so I've been enjoying S-NES in real s-video. It's kind of gorgeous. I also picked up Banjo Kazootie for $1.50, some WWF game for N64 (not a big wrestling fan, but I barely have any N64 stuff), A Genesis for $5 (with gun controller!). I missed Clayfighters for S-NES by ten seconds...
Bruce Tomlin
I got a Game Doctor V64 unit with box and cables but no instructions for $15. I haven't powered it on yet, but it seems to have two memory cards, meaning it's probably got 256Mbit, plus it has an extra 128MBit card in a small box, identical to one of the two installed cards. Yeah, that's pretty cool, but that's not the coolest part. I just noticed a sticker on it that says "Iguana Entertainment". Yes, this machine used to belong to Iguana Entertainment / Acclaim Studios Austin, who developed the N64 games NBA Jam 99, NFL QB Club 99, South Park 64, WWF Warzone, and the three Turok titles. So this unit was possibly used to develop and/or test one or more of those titles. Of course I won't have any actual prototype code unless someone left a CD in the drive, but it's still kind of cool. EDIT: I did a quick google search and couldn't find software. Does anyone know where to get the downloader/etc. software for this thing? EDIT: it looks like dextrose.com has the tpc2 downloader and various BIOS versions Edited September 26, 2006 by Bruce Tomlin
