You are Hotot, a cybernetic life form from a serene planet in a distant galaxy. Unfortunately, even in a galaxy far far away not everything is as peaceful as it first seems, for Hotot has discovered an alien missile base hidden on his planet. Manned by strange blue aliens, these evil intruders are using your planet as a launching site for their deadly warhead which is posed to destroy the galaxy's power source. With the help of the birdlike Gorfons, you must destroy the warhead, and prevent the destruction of the galaxy! Good luck Hotot. You are the Saboteur."

Saboteur is an enjoyable, multi-level shooter written by Howard Scott Warshaw, the Atari programmer and designer responsible for Yars' Revenge, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and E.T. Saboteur was never released by Atari, and at some point was modified to be released as a game based on the A-Team.

Saboteur includes a professionally printed box, manual and label, all in the style of Atari's original silver label releases. The artwork for the game was created by Dave Exton, with a manual written by Matt Reichert, including Howard Scott Warshaw's thoughts about the game. This game is brilliant! Too bad it wasn't released decades ago, however it's here now! Colours are exceptional, controls are spot on and responsive. Game play is excellent. The manual was impressive. Highly recommend

This is my first Atari game I bought from Atari Age and also one of the most awesome games that I ever played on the Atari 2600. The reason why I chose this title at first was for the packaging which is great with the full color box and 12 page color manual. This game is 100% worth the packaging and better than I could of imagined. The graphics and sound are amazing starting with the opening rocket scene that begins each game. The characters on each of the 3 boards are big and easy to recognize because you have to save the cute yellow Gorfons from all the enemies trying to destoy the planet. The sound effects and game control are flawless. Anyone who owns an Atari 2600 should purchase this game. It is one of the most fun and unique games that I ever played on the Atari 2600. I am just surprised I am the first to review this superb game.
