Swordquest AirWorld - 2600 Cartridge Magnet
Atari 2600 Magnet Cartridge featuring the mythical Atari 2600 game Swordquest AirWorld. Swordquest was a series of four contest games (EarthWorld, FireWorld, WaterWorld, and AirWorld) released by Atari, and AirWorld was to be the last game in this series. Unfortunately AirWorld was never completed, nor has evidence even surfaced of the game being started. The artwork for the magnet is derived from a fan-made AirWorld project for the Atari 5200 that sadly is no longer in production.
This Atari 2600 magnet cartridge features a powerful magnet (hidden inside the cartridge) that will adhere strongly to any ferromagnet surface (such as your refrigerator, filing cabinet, robot, non-plastic or fiberglass car, etc.). We've adorned these cartridges with a wide variety of labels depicting rare and prototype cartridges. The labels look great and these games make wonderful conversation pieces for your friends and family who may wonder why you have Atari 2600 cartridges stuck to various objects in your home.
It has to be said, because if we don't say it someone will invariably write to us after they receive their magnet cart (or carts): "This cartridge doesn't work in my 2600!" No, the guts of the cartridge (well, just the circuit board, really) have been removed in order to make room for the magnets. Thus, these games have been retired from service so they could fulfill another purpose in life! Also, just as a friendly reminder, keep this and other magnet cartridges away from your wallet, old floppy disks, and other items that are sensitive to strong magnetic fields!
