It doesn't "click" when the power line is attached, and the 5200 does not power on with the red LED. Is there a way to tell visually if the box is kaput? Below is a photo of the PCB. Do you have to remove the RF shield to do the power mod? For the power mod, I don't think you have to remove the shield. I removed the shield from mine a long time ago and never put it back on. I had the same experience. U1 chip on the switch box is damage.
