Songbird
FYI, those JI2 web pages only last about a week, then they scroll off into oblivion... so better to put the real text right here. Really significant update on VVCS for you guys: while taking a break from the finishing touches of Prot SE, I started to tinker with the non-working VVCS source I acquired a while back. The source has never built a working version of VVS. Until now. A couple of hours in debug with the Alpine, and I isolated a couple of instructions that were wrong in their vblank interrupt handler. So now I can build VVCS, test new 2600 ROMs with it, and someday actually ENHANCE the emulator! Long live the Jag!!!
The Helper
All I have to say on this is thank god for Songbird. I have gotten every one of the Jaguar games. When that RPG comes out I will probably pick up a Lynx.
Songbird
No promises at this time, and I definitely need a break. But at least it's something I can tinker with now... So does anyone have complete freeware source to a 68K-based 2600 emulator? That would be a big help for getting more of it running.
Albert
Wow, Carl, that's great! Would be awesome to have a decent 2600 emulator on the Jaguar if you were able to get a significant portion of the 2600 library working on it. I need to take some screen grabs from VVCS and add an entry for that here on AtariAge. Hmmmmmmmm, should I add this to the In Development page? ..Al
Gaztee
Cool. Are we to assume that this will now be your next project for the Jag? Make sure you get a break first You deserve one after all your efforts to keep us Jag fans happy

t.skid
Great news Carl VVCS have something to do with "Mystery Jag Project #1" in Songbird page?
oesii
The video was fun to watch although someone really needs to subsitute Defender II/Stargate for Defender. That's like emulating the 2600 Pac-man instead of Ms. Pac or Jr. Pac
t.skid
I'd like to see also Haunted House on VVCS
