| Ice Hockey is one of a few sports titles Activision created for the 2600, and the only ice hockey title on the system. Ice Hockey can be played solo against the computer, or (for more enjoyment) against another human opponent. There are two players on each team, both of which you control. The game consists of a single three minute period and the team with the highest score when the time expires is the winner. During the game, the player on your team closest to the puck is the one that you control, making the other player inactive until the puck is closest to him again. There are 32 different shot angles, and you can also check an opponent. Passing or shooting quickly is not always the best option, as timing and well placed shots play a more important factor in this game. (Contributed by leearco) |
