This isn't a landmark (it's my house), but is noteworthy. It snowed on Chrismas eve in Houston this year, the first snow in 15 years.

My local White Castle in my neighborhood.  White Castle is a fast food chain only located in a few select cities in the east and mid-west.  They are known for their small burgers cooked in onions. The butterfly sculpture in the Ames School Butterfly Garden, located in my neighborhood.
 
One of the entrances to the St. Louis Zoo, also located in Forest Park. In front of a statue at the entrance to the St. Louis Art Museum in Forest Park.
 
The statue of St. Louis, the namesake of the city, across the street from the art museum. The International Bowling Hall of Fame, located across the street from the stadium.
 
In front of Busch Stadium, home of the Cardinals.  The statue is of Cards' hall of famer Stan Musial.  Alas, this stadium will be demolished soon and a new one built by 2006. A shot in front of the Old Court House, with the Gateway Arch in the background.
 
In between a part of Richard Serra's sculpture Twain.  The sculpture is on a lot behind the civil courts building, seen in the background.  The sculpture is controversial as it is basically a bunch of rusting metal walls.  But some art people in the area seem to love it. Finally, Crown Candy Kitchen, also in my neighborhood.  They are famous for their ice cream and malted milkshakes.

Old North Church - "One if by land, Two if by Sea". Paul Revere Statue - located in the North End of Boston.
 
Big Dig - Location where the old expressway used to be. The expressway is now all underground. FleetCenter - Home the Boston Bruins and Boston Celtics.
 
John Hancock Building - Tallest Building in New England. Famous Citgo Sign - Can be seen above the Green Monster at Fenway Park.
 
Fenway Park - Home of the 2004 World Series Champions Boston Red Sox. Oldest ballpark in Major League Baseball. Gillete Stadium - Foxboro, Ma - Home of the Super Bowl 36 and 38 champion New England Patriots.

This photo is of the Train Trestle Bridge. Located in Letchworth State Park in Portageville NY.  It was rebuilt to replace the worlds longest wooden bridge that burned down. in 1875. This photo is a small portion of the scenic views of  the Letchworth State Park Gorge. Its Located in Letchworth State Park in Castile NY.  The Genesee River runs thorugh the entire lentgh of the Gorge.  Letchworth State park is also known as the Grand Canyon of the East.  This photo is of the Glen Iris Inn built in 1828. Located in Letchworth State Park in Castile NY.  It was the former home and country retreat of William Pryor Letchworth.  Mr Letchworth donated the house and his huge estate to NY State as park in 1907.
 
This photo is of the the middle falls of the Genesee River Located in Letchworth State Park in Castile NY.  There are two others falls located in the park. The Upper and the lower falls. This photo is of the Civil War Mounument Dedicated to the First New York State Dragoons Volunteers. Located in Letchworth State Park in Castile NY.  It was erected in 1903.
 
This photo is of the Year Round(frozen) fountain in the Gold Fish Pond. Located in Letchworth State Park in Castile NY.  If you look from above or out the third story window in the Glen Iris Inn(Next door) You will notice that the pond was made in the shape of NY state.

The attached picture was taken in Harvard,IL standing next to Harmilda the cow. Harmilda is the local mascot for the Harvard Milk Day festival. The biggest event of the year in the dairy capital of the world, Harvard Illinois. Milk Days is held on the first weekend of June every year for the past 62 years. There is a parade, a beauty contest, a carnival, and other events.
