Adventure II

Adventure II is the much-anticipated, unofficial sequel to Atari's classic Adventure on the 2600. As the game is being written for the Atari 5200, it will be larger and more detailed than the original, while still remaining faithful to the traits that made the classic Adventure memorable even after 25 years. AtariAge will have a new demo of Adventure II at the 2005 Philly vgXpo, so visitors to the show will have the privilege of being the first to see the game's latest progress!

At this point the game is nearly complete, and we expect to start selling copies in December. The version of Adventure II we'll have in Philly will be very close to the final game! We recently held a Ye Olde Adventure II Contest on AtariAge to solicit alternate player icons as well as ranking slogans.

You can learn more about Adventure II by visiting Ron Lloyd's Adventure II Development Page.

Scott Huggins has crafted his second masterpiece for the ColecoVision, this time bringing the classic arcade game Spectar to the system. As with Scott Huggin's first ColecoVision game (Astro Invader), Scott's done an excellent job of recreating this arcade classic on the ColecoVision, a system that already has a large library of great arcade ports. She urges him to use the powers of the magic jewels left behind by Aphrodite and the magic crystals which fell from Olympia to find and rescue Aphrodite. Then, Popolon awakes refreshed with renewed strength. With Hera's blessings, he sets forth for Mount Atos. Will he be able to find and rescue the fair Aphrodite?

Goonies
ColecoVision by Eduardo Mello

The Goonies

The action takes place in the sleepy seaside town of Cauldron Point - down in an area known as the Goon Docks. The Goonies are a group of local kids - Mikey, Brand, Mouth, Chunk, and Data. One day they find an old treasure map in Mikey's attic. Data figures that this must be the fabulous hidden treasure of the notorious local pirate, One-Eyed Willy. The girls, Andy and Stef, join the other Goonies and the adventure begins. But the secret underground tunnels they are exploring are actually the hideout of the Fratelli Gang, and the Goonies are soon trapped! The Goonies have a powerful ally on their side, however, in the form of the huge and amiable Sloth. When you play this game, you are Sloth! Can you help the Goonies find the treasure and escape back to save the Goon Docks from demolition?

Based on the Steven Spielberg's film The Goonies your mission is to rescue all seven Goonies group members. To reach this goal you must collect keys and open doors until you find all seven. While exploring you will find various items that will assist you in completing the mission. The final game will include a nice password system to save your progress. Goonies features five stages and over a hundred screens.
