Ballblazer - Box

DescriptionSubmit Description
Ballblazer for the Atari 5200 was the first video game produced by Lucasarts, the company still releasing Star Wars (and other) games today. The company got off on the right foot with Ballblazer, and this 7800 update is even better than the original. Ballblazer is a 3D, split screen, science fiction soccer-style event that is fun to play against the computer or even more so against a friend. This is also only one of two 7800 games that features the POKEY chip found in Atari 5200 and Atari 8-bit computers, and the music and sound effects are amazing in comparison to the rest of the Pro System's library. A sequel was released on the Playstation more than ten years later, but it was received with little fanfare. (Contributed by Cousin Vinnie Vineyard)
